Full Developmental Review

Service Description

A full developmental review of your book based on your completed draft. This includes: - Specific examples of what is working in your book and what makes those elements effective. - Specific, actionable notes on high-impact issues, complete with examples on how and why the issues can, and should, be improved noted both inline (ie - Track Changes in Word) and on the style sheet. - Answers to any questions on plot, tone, characterization, or structure. - Tips for better writing directly related to, and using examples from, your book. - An Editorial Letter summarizing the highlights from the review. - A complete style sheet tracking special terms, characters and their characteristics, and grammar/style notes, including any continuity issues. - Two 45-minute One-on-One Zoom sessions where you can ask questions, brainstorm, discuss points in your editorial letter, or publishing options. - NOTE: Some copy edits will be made; however, this is not a replacement for a full copy edit and proofread. Turn around time for service is usually ten business days. Be sure to book your first Zoom session at least three business days after emailing your complete rough draft to cespurlockwrites@gmail.com.
